Weekday workouts

Weight is still fluctuating but at least I'm getting a wrap on my food choices.... Helps that my hubby wants to shed a few pounds too, so we won't be having the snacky stuff around to tempt me!

Monday: rest day

Tuesday: am run 6mi, pm trail run

Wednesday: marathon group speedworkout - 2x(4x800 at LSD-90 to 120), 1mi warm up and cool down.Total mileage of 10.34 at 9:10 overall pace!

Thursday: was supposed to be a rest day, but needed to run to clear my head so did 5.25 solo miles

Friday: am run 6(ish) miles

First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR  Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13(1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.

This week has travel, so I'm not sure yet what my plan is.  

Mon - yoga
Tue - running, yoga
Wed - zumba, water aerobics, maybe a class (or two) at my parents' gym based on how I'm feeling
Thu - yoga, hopefully bhangra if I'm home in time
Fri - running, yoga, I figure I won't be able to do tai chi or pilates

I like to do set of three days with one day of cardio, one day of weight training, and one rest day.  It is good to rotate exercises to keep things fresh.
