New long for me plus 1/2 mile before and after.  I averaged pretty close to 12 minutes per mile.

I may sign up for a 1/2 marathon.  I would like to get my time closer to 11:30 per mile.

That's terrific!  I've been thinking about doing a 10K.  Have you ever done one?  That would be a good stepping stone to a 1/2.

I have been thinking about a 10K as well.  What is holding me back is the fees for 10Ks and 1/2s are way more than 5Ks.
