I've been following my marathon training plan for 4 weeks now. It's really slow in progressing. Weird to have to tell myself to turn around and go back so I don't run to far.

Monday-Weights

Tuesday-3 mile run

Wednesday-3 mile run

Thursday-4 mile run

Friday-Weights

Saturday-Golf (might have to cancel to go shopping with Mrs.Bad)

Sunday-6 mile run

Your plan has your running those short distances to prep for a marathon?

I am prepping for a 10K on the 31st. I have been averaging about 25 to 30 miles per week.

Yeah. Granted the marathon is not until March and the miles increase steadily. I've just been using this "down" time to try and increase my speed. So instead of just finishing the distance I have been trying to get my pace below 9 minute miles.
