Highlandbear... I thought about you this week..

I ALMOST did a 1/2 Iron man.....in 3 days...

Friday. swam 1000 meters..(600 meters shy)

Saturday-Biked 33 miles (only 22 miles shy)

Sunday-Ran 12 miles (1 mile shy)

And your going to do all that in 1 day...still astonishes me...

LOl thanks for thinking of me. Think of me on the 16. I was out with my trainer who trains me for free. There is no way I would be able to afford her yesterday. We did a 30 minute run in the heat and I told her that depends on how this race goes if i will do another half. I had trouble last year but finished it but if i struggle like I did last year than I need to ask myself is this distance for me or just to much. I am hoping i will be stronger than last year. If you ever want to do a triathlon start with a tri tri and i would be very willing to help you from here to train for it. You could do it.You don't need all the fancy stuff to do tri tri believe me. You are doing great with your work out. Make sure you are taking rest days. Please. I learned the hard way and those rest days are so important. When is your race again. Any questions just ask

you can do it and if you like i can help you with your training schedule. The most important thing you will have to do is practice your transitions and get off that bike and go right into the run. you will also need to practice coming out of the water going to the bike and get on and ride. I be willing to help guide or answer questions. Open water swim is important and learn to draft in the water. just some hints
