Most of us are only allowed to walk for the first 6 weeks post-op. So walk a lot :D

Really depends on what your doc says. I was cleared to go to the gym and walk on a treadmill or use a recumbent bike before I went for my post op visit 2 weeks after surgery. At that visit, he lifted my 10 pound restriction and told me to do what didn't hurt. I had been working with a personal trainer before surgery and we had worked on a routine for me to do post-op. I would ride a recumbent bike for about 30 minutes and then do body weight or other weight exercises. As I began to feel stronger, I added more. Talk to your team.

Keep on losing!
