I can so relate to that.    . I miss those foods.. But, getting stuck isn't any fun at all.   . I ate alost of rice and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.. Now I eat peanut butter and sugar free jelly on a few crispy cracker... only as a treat.   . Great job on your weightloss and journey..It is an awesome "ride".. Hugs..."Lucky"

For several years I couldn't handle bread, now I can handle thin toasted or crispy breads. I rarely have them though.
A spoonful of rice makes me feel bloated and stuffed, so no thanks.
Pasta, no way Jose!
Red meat or pork chops

I can eat anything I want.  The difference is I can't eat as much of some things.  White meat chicken, bread, pasta...I can eat in very small amounts.  Crackers, chips, and cookies I can eat endless amounts of these...ugh!!!!!

I did have an issue with a bagel once and reheated meat...both I stay away from...more because of bad association with the incident....I can't enjoy those items anymore

I have found no issues so far with food. I can eat anything as long as I chew it super good. But then again I have also not had a fill as of yet. I am 2 months and 2 days post-op and have lost 30 pounds so far. Maybe once I have a fill things will change.

I had surgery 1 month before you.  I can eat almost anything if I eat s-l-o-w-l-y and small.  I have a very hard time with those 2 things. My band doesn't like dry chicken.  As long as its moist, I'm OK.  Big bites of fluffy bread is a no-no. And believe it or not chips mush up and don't want to go through after my last fill. No problems with pasta or rice as long as I remember my 2 things.

Debbie,

Wow those are exactly my problem foods! Add muffins and we would be twins!
I can eat a grilled cheese sandwich, or pizza if it's slow - but dry chicken, fluffy bread, and chips! I don't go near it anymore.

I havent had a fill, but I won't have one yet. I don't think I need one. Im losing still and I can get stuck on stupid stuff - like a grape, if my band feels funky.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen!

I had surgery 3/23 and down about 47lbs.  I dont ever get stuck on anything, and I can eat everything.  Does that mean maybe I don't have enough in my band?

I can eat bread, rice, pasta, any meat anything??????

I am scheduled at the end of this month to have another fill....I have 7 or 8 in an 11 cc band?
