Pathetic? Hardly :) I am planning on getting my first tattoo by the time I turn 50 in October. I think we just come from an era where "good" girls didn't get tattooed....or at least that's what my mom believed. It's taken me most of my adult life to seriously consider getting a tattoo. Now I can hardly wait!

5.0 cc in a 10cc lapband (four fills) 1 unfill of .5cc on 5/24/2011.
.5 fill March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012. Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

HW: 267lbs- size 22-24 LW:194lbs CW:198lbs Size 14-16

Thank you, you are right on the head about the innuendo that "good girls" did not get tattoos. I just love it and i do want another one around my ankle like a Native American band with feathers going down my ankle.

I am part Cherokee and just love that stuff and when I saw the feather with the rose I thought that looked very clean and something that fit me very well.

Heh..My grandfather was a full blooded Cherokee. Your tattoo is perfect. Me? I'm leaning toward getting a delicate vine tattoo that winds around my leg. I have two 5" vertical scars from an accident 10 years ago...so the vine would entwine the scars,,,going to a tattoo artist soon to plan it out. You bet I will post pictures of it here!

I like the ankle tattoo idea too. Maybe that will be my second one. I've heard they can be addictive.....

That's a gorgeous tat!! I've wanted one too but am allergic to so much stuff it'd be my luck I was allergic to stuff in the ink! Yep I'm also from the "good girls" DO NOT get tats era too. Wouldn't our grandmothers just have fits if they saw all the women with tats now days? Bette would put them over the edge with all of hers!
