I hate those group texts also. Got a couple of buddies that occasionally get all liquored up late and start bantering back and forth. If I'm asleep, my hearing aids are out, but the Mrs. gets up and turns the phone off. She's not a happy camper in the morning :-)

Good week to all

Missed last week because I was traveling for work. I flew into NY early last Sunday and walked around Central Park and the American Museum of Natural History. The North American animals section in the museum was cool - Elk, Moose, mountain lions, bears. All I ever see around the suburbs is skunk and raccoons.

I've spent a bit less than $200 this weekend getting a new temporary wardrobe. Had to take back the Extra Large Carhartt shirts I bought and get Larges, which was a surprise. Don't know when I've had to take something back for being too big. Drove 380 miles (round trip) for a 3 hour drivers' meeting that was about 2 hours too long, and bagged up most of my clothes for Goodwill (3 trash bags of giveaway, 1 of stuff too far gone to giveaway plus stuff with my name monogrammed on it).
