211.8 Last Week
212.9 Today

I'm always relieved when I finally get my taxes done. I do not have anything too complex so I have been doing them myself (software assist) for years. I do know if you have a friend who is a tax accountant, you pretty much don't see them March through mid April :-)

Finally getting yard work in. Got to make the place look good since we are hosting Easter this year. We've dwindled down to only two little ones for the egg hunt, so it is about 35 adults to feed and water. I'm glad weigh in is Sunday and not Monday :-)

Hit under 210 once this week. That is a positive thing. Hopefully more of them this week.

Great week to all!

Bob

Congrats on getting under 210!

Because rain was forecast for Saturday, and they were right, knocked mine out when I got home Friday afternoon. Finished it about the time the guard lights came on. Wet clover doesn't cut worth a crap!

Although I am a CPA and tax specialist I don't do any returns including even my own. So I am not on the busy season schedule like Don's girlfriend and haven't been for almost 20 years. But I do remember those days, and I'm sure she is getting pretty tired by now. I am sure she will be happy to see the sun when she leaves work at night.

I will take it. Going out to Utah this week to visit colleges with my middle son. Fishing trip for trout on Saturday, If I catch anything good I will post a picture.

Have a great week, all.

The last two years she worked part-time and was under utilized. She knew what she was getting into when she applied where she works and it's where she wanted to go along. It is a long standing firm that the senior partner did my grandmother's taxes back in the 60's or 70's. Even though there are four or five doing returns they are understaffed by no one's fault. A partner is in his 80's and still puts in what time he can. One of the guys got a job as the Financial Director for the local community college and his first day was March 15th. The other problem was that one of the partner's sons who worked there passed from cancer around Christmas and has not been replaced. That was about the time they were out doing school district audits. So was her "rookie" season and had to learn how they did things, the clients and some different accountings scenarios. This week 236.4

Taking a week off of work for my birthday and for general mental health. The Wife is taking a few days off as well so she can make sure my energy is properly channeled (ie get some projects around the house knocked out). Bought some 38 waist jeans and was surprised how well they fit. Hopefully I'm a couple weeks from needing to goodwill all the 42 jeans I bought a couple months ago. Probably won't be able to put it off more than two weeks more though. Hoping to be in shorts for the couple of warm days we are due this week.
