Any time I get out of the regular habit of weighing every day, I creep up a little bit. Need to be better this week. Tried to fix a leaky sink faucet in our bathroom and made the problem worse. So, its off the list and we are calling the plumber. I have never had any success doing any type of plumbing, no matter how simple.

We put a belt back on our mower Saturday afternoon, as well. Got some power washing in swell.

Thanks. They had a drive through Diploma pick-up end then a virtual graduation on youtube. Baylor rescheduled the graduation ceremony until August 15th (should be toasty in Waco), so we are scheduled to go to that.

Hi guys, Sorry I haven't been posting. Between the lockdown, one of my kids getting COVID-19 (not seriously, but a bit of heart attack for me and my wife), work being kind of crappy, and Chicago having endless winter, it just got away from me.
But we are finally having nice weather, co I am working in the yard today and my son graduated high school yesterday.

It's a rainy Monday and dark to boot. Wife is headed out on a tennis trip this week, so its the three of us boys at home while she is away.

Back from Colorado visiting college and doing a little fishing. The fishing wasn't great, but the scenery was. My son caught a nice rainbow trout and I got skunked. At one point I looked down and a fish was using me as a rock, sitting about three feet behind me out of the current. So we just hung out together for a bit.
Bob's Florida weather sounds so good right now.

Finally feeling better after two weeks of being sick. I was able to get back to my normal gym schedule last week for the first time since I got this cold/flu thing. Usually by March we are through the worst of winter, so only a couple of more weeks to go.

Our built in bookcase in the family room was made to fit a 43 inch TV, which was a good size at the time. Upgrading to a larger TV would be cheap, but redoing the cabinetry would cost a fortune.

Finally feel like I am back on a normal schedule after the flights to and from New Zealand over the holidays. I had a good 10 days or so where I was sleeping much more than normal.
This is a milder than normal winter by Chicago standards, but it is still winter. Looking forward to Spring Break. We are going to Nashville and visiting some of the Civil War battle sights in Southern Tennessee and Northern Mississippi.

Hi everybody.
Sorry I've been a bit of a stranger lately. We had a busy December and then we were away to Australia and New Zealand over the holidays. Two of our kids are graduating this year (one high school one college) and we wanted to do a family trip. Now those cruise toilets can flush!
I'm pretty excited for the game tonight - hopefully I can stay up until the end. LSU looks so tough, but I thought the same about Alabama a couple of years ago and Clemson whipped them.
Picked up a few pounds over the holidays, have to work on that this week.

Back to the grind today. We were away for the weekend and then yesterday, I had kind of a short day because I had an eye doctor right in the middle of the day and couldn't go back to work with my eyes dilated.
Ate some carrot cake with icing on Thanksgiving, which left me feeling not very good for about an hour. Hopefully, that will be a lesson learned.

Had a trip to the emergency room this week. Shooting pain in my abdomen and back. During the 5 and 1/2 hour wait to be seen it resolved itself. The actual emergency room had a bed but listening to the other patients scream and moan was like one of Dante's levels of hell. To medical students spent 45 minutes looking for my left kidney with the ultrasound machine.
Baylor's loss last night was crushing.

Away at an offsite conference last week equaled too much restaurant eating. Good news is that I think I am done with work travel for the year. This should be a better week. We caught the Midway movie yesterday and would recommend it.
ESPN College Gameday will be at Baylor next week, so Daughter and friends are working on their signs.

We got about four inches of snow on Thursday which pretty much wiped out Halloween. It's all melted today, but its clear that summer is over.
I don't know about everybody else, but the leaves are piling up in our yard. Next week will be raking unless my wife breaks down and hires a lawn service to do it.

Had a great trip down to Waco to see my daughter. On the way back to the airport, I headed East on 164 - was that going towards you, Don?

I have a short work week because I am headed down to Texas for a meeting on Wednesday and then up to Waco to see my daughter and meet her boyfriend. Hopefully, we find our way to Pappas Brother on Wednesday or Thursday night. My work trip just happened to coincide with Baylor homecoming, so the free flight and car rental are being offset by jacked up hotel rates.
Don, I will be back for graduation in the spring, so maybe we can plan something then.

We went down to Florida for our 29th wedding anniversary last week. Had a great time, lots of swimming, the ocean water was so warm. I had my first post-surgery drink and first since July 2018. It didn't seem to hit me too hard. But I'm not looking to make a habit of it. I'm good enough at getting fat without the added calories from the booze.
Brought back an extra pound plus from Florida, so have to get after it this week.
My daughter was at the Baylor game yesterday. I'm going in two weeks against Tech. Also going to meet her boyfriend for the first time. Later we are going to the game at KU (November 30).

Its great to be on the weekend. How do these days go by so fast and Monday/Tuesday go so slow?
We went to a party last night, and the host's dogs must have known i was a spiller as soon as they saw me. They camped out right under me and, sure enough, i didn't disappoint, spilling one piece of Smartpop for every two that I got into my mouth. Even without the excuse of the big stomach, I seem to struggle to keep from spilling all over the place.
When dessert came out they had to find a different donor, though because I just had a cookie.
