New study says broccoli helps to combat obesity.

"Sulforaphane is an isothiocyanate found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and kale. Researchers with Kanazawa University has found that sulforaphane helped reduce weight gain in mice fed a high-fat diet by 15%. The team also found that the nutrient helped reduce visceral fat - the abdominal fat that surrounds the organs and is most detrimental to health."

Does this mean I should be consuming broccoli several times a week? How often do you use broccoli?

I am going out on a limb and saying that eating less calories combats obesity.

How much broccoli? In order to get enough protein I can have about 1-2 oz of veggies twice a day.
