The best advice is ask your doctor or nurtitionist... I found a salad difficult to digest.
Its a very personal thing - you may be able to do it and may not...

I had surgery on 12-6-04 and have been eating salads for a while. I have had no problems with them, but I know some people have. I would suggest trying just a little and seeing if you can eat them.
