lapband friendly doctor in mississauga?

I am going to have lapband surgery done soon and do not have a family doctor.  does anyone have any recommendations of a family doctor in mississauga/oakville that is familular with the lapband?

If you look at my friend's list, you will see Corky...read through her posts.  She is away on vacation right now, but I do believe she saw a Burlington dr and is seeing a Mississauga dr for lapband.

I'm not sure if she's taking new patients, but my family doctor first recommended the lap band to me and when I had my RNY, she was extremely supportive and very proud of my results.  Wouldn't hurt to call and see if she's taking on anyone new:

Best wishes Stuart on your upcoming lap band surgery, are you having it at the Surgical Weight Loss Centre in Mississauga?   I had mine there and best thing I ever did.   My family doctor in Streetsville Dr Ron Peddle was the one who gave me a brochure on my surgeon's clinic but I don't think he ihas taken any new patients in many years.   You could always see if one of the other newer doctors at his clinic (Streetsville Medical Clinic) are though at (905)826-1164.

If you can't find a doctor familiar with the band I recommend bringing them in info to educate them.
