Tortillon Cheese
Found a great tasting cheese: here.
It's a bit like cheese strings without the strings. It's in between cheddar cheese and cream cheese in texture. (I've never had cheese curds so don't know if this is cheese curd or otherwise).
They have a BBQ flavor with 9g protein and 1g carbs per 30g serving.
Delicious.

Before the surgery I kept putting things off. I was never good enough. One of the benefits of WLS is that you start to believe in yourself. Check out my blog:

Very different texture than curds but still good. I found the BBQ way too salty for me but still a nice treat. I've seen them in the jar with the brine but haven't bought them yet ,may have to try those. Been buying bocconccini in brine and love that so am sure will love these ones in brine as well.
I'll check to see if that brand is available in the local Loblaws, thanks, Tracey!
We have a cheese factory in the area (St. Alberts), that has incredible cheese. DH goes directly to the factory (if he's in the area for work) and will buy a huge jar of "cheese rope" , which is very, very thin cheese strings tied into knots about 1.5 inches around that are in a brine. They are awesome. We also use to buy (not sure if they still have it), but a large jar of pickled cheese which to me tastes the same but comes in solid rectanges about 1.5 x 1.5 x 3". They also sell this in local bars with crackers. Yumm!

The cheese rope one in a huge jar is the same as the one they sell at the Loblaws stores. If you go to Quebec, they have tons of this brand there. My son used to drive across the border to pick up the bbq flavoured ones all the time. Good thing it was only 18 mins away or he may have had a **** fit waiting for them to sell it in Ontario. LOL
Well I never know that it was curds. I tried curds about two years ago and HATED it. Now I want it.
My pallette has really changed post-op.
Same with blueberries: loved before, hate after.
