She has apparently accused us of bullying. I did as she had requested an PM'd her. Got a very nasty response of how she was victimized etc. As you said it was a very cordial exchange of information. In fact until she attempted to "defend" her original statement the whole "magic of Optifast" had been left and we had moved on to the intent of your post. Blooming one day post op I was answering work related Emails, my surgeon came and took my Blackberry away! By 8 days post I was back to work. People on this forum need to know that people shoot from the hip. Nothing is couched. If you are too sensitive to be responded to in this manner perhaps you should remain an observer. I have been flammed and raked over the coals for things I have said, and some things I hadn't but were assigned to me. There is a very useful button called "block" if you don't like someone or what they are saying use it.

She's blocked me- thank goodness. I'm sure Oknee and others who can see her posts will correct any future misinformation.
If she'd just acknowledged that there was no evidence to support her initial post-- but she kept on- and failed to support her 'facts'. Considering the very poor spelling and grammar- I'm surprised that she managed to be accepted at York University or Nursing school, never mind graduate.

I guess I'm blocked as well, can't see her posts in this thread...or she removed them. 

It's absolutely shameful that a member of the medical profession would act in this manner.  Dispell bogus information, continue attacking when called out and resort to childish behaviour when no one backs down.  I suppose we're all human, however...if that's an example of the type of people we employ in our healthcare system - a 17 year veteran no less - something REALLY needs to be done.  This is a woman in her late 30's at the very least.  Again...shameful.

I find the spelling on this site atrocious in general. 

Bad spelling does not equal bad person...People who spell badly can offer some awesome help and advice...What's the point of pointing out bad spelling?

Totally agree Marion....and the funny thing is, some who commented on poor spelling had mistakes of their own....ahhh to be perfect.....

what exactly are you talking about?  this is probably the best debate i've seen on this site.  sure it sunk a little when someone kept insisting something was fact that wasn't.  that's the person who started throwing around their 'education' and she was also the first person to be disrespectful.

i'm not sure why you think what you've written is of any value in this discussion.  you are doing exactly what you are accusing us of doing. 

It was a vaild debate.  However, you've all now been blocked, so why carry on talking about her, unless via PMs to each other?  She can't see your posts anyway. Seems to me the debate part of the conversation is over.

She told me in her PM that she was leaving, my reply to her PM could not be sent so the account is closed. Does not mean she can't lurk. Someone this sensitive should only lurk anyway!

Bullying??? Victimizing??? WTF???  I wonder if she'll have as hard a time proving that we were bullying her as she has had proving that linolec acid is a drug or hormone that drains fat from the liver. (ouch...laughing still hurts) 

As Louise said, she had every opportunity to gracefully accept that she was wrong.  Heck, she didn't have to respond in the first place.  I didn't call her out and very few would have know it was her.
