Shoulder pain

Hi i have a question in regards to shoulder pain ....Im almost 7 months out and im experiancing shoulder pain on my left side it just started for no apparent reason and im a lil worried I remember reading or hearing something about it before or after surgery should i be worried???

Shoulder pain immediately after surgery can be caused by severe gas. This obviously id not the case for you.

Probably not WLS-related.
Do you still have a gallbladder?
And how was your heart, last time you went to the doctor?

Could be almost anything. If it persists, a trained professional is your best bet.

Had my gallbladder out in 1990 and i am gonna see my cardio Doc in July for rapid heart beat.
I guess i'll have to see what he says

 How sharp is the pain?

is it JUST in the shoulder? or does it radiate anywhere?

is there pain in the jaw?

any heaviness in the chest?

if you are experiencing any of the above.. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!!! 

if not I would call and get in with your GP or a walk in clinic ASAP (like Monday morning for your GP or today (Sunday) for the walk in clinic)

I had shoulder pain a couple of months after surgery - my surgeon put me back on the stomach meds (omeprazole) and I haven't had any pain since.  He said some people have to remain on it for life.  Check with your surgeon.
