I was at Costco today and couldn't find their Calcium Citrate.  When I asked at the pharmacy, I was told that they are no longer carrying it!!!!   Where do you buy your calcium citrate????

Thanks for any help

Hi,

Do you mean the liquide one, I just bought that last week in Ottawa, if it's is truly discontinued you can call Costco's head office in Ottawa and speak to the buyer they will return your call.

Thanks Sue

Not the liquid, but the regular pills.  That is a good idea about calling the buyer though.  Thanks!!

I buy mine at Shopper's Drug Mart or Walmart.  I was buy the pills but I am having surgery tomorrow and there is no way I could swallow those I bought a pill splitter and that didn't go so well.  So I switched to the Jamieson Chewables recently.

How do they compare pricewise?  I only payed slightly over $5 for 180 pills....  I have no problem swallowing pills.  When I was early out I just dropped them in a couple of ounces of water and they dissolved quickly and I just swallowed all the mixture.  It doesn't have a bad taste.  Tastless really.

They make the chewable citrate, but citrate is only a part of it... they are mostly carbonate.

JoAnn, I just buy regular Calcium Citrate at Shoppers or Wal-Mart if I don"t have the Bariatric Advantage Chewable Calcium. If I remember they are pretty cheap. I just crunch them up and swallow them with a little water. A little chalky but no real flavour to them so it's no big deal to chew them if the pills are too big to swallow.

Sorry, I don't know where you live. Could you try another Costco? Burlington Costco sells them.
