What are foods that you go to the most often.  That you love, or that fit the nutritional values you need.

Try not to use drinks- try to think of food

my most often foods are:

salad (daily and often twice daily to get my veggies in) with a protein....
Chicken (dont many ways)
canned salmon/tuna
hard boiled eggs
turkey pepperettes
Cheese strings/cheese in general
greek yogurt
lean lunch meat (for roll ups)
Pork (usually cook a tenderloin and keep it in the fridge)

I eat other stuff too but these are my daily go to's, quick to grab when on the run and pretty mindless when I don't feel like planning but don't want to pick "the wrong things".

eggs - i usually have one for breakfast, sometimes poached, but usually scrambled in the microwave. Sometimes if i feel like a little more, i add another egg white in there, adds protein, but no more fat.

Chicken - i like to buy the bbq ones at walmart or Zehrs and divide into 2 or 3 oz portions, freeze it

Pillers turkey pepperettes - love love lvoe them

Pork loin chops, i buy these, cook them up on teh grill and freeze them individually, to grab for dinner or lunch.

I also like to keep frozen veggies on hand, toss them in with one of those pork loins or chicken and its a meal.

Chili mmmmmm timmies, tho wendy's is a better deal, and you dont have to say no to the huge bun that comes with the timmies. I've gotta make my own one of these days, freeze it up into little batches.

Cheese. I buy the light laughing cow cheeses, or the light babybels, but as for other cheese, i just buy regular.

It's just me and my hubby at home now, and he's a vegetarian.

I am a creature of habit..I eat the same things pretty much every week..
breakfast -
egg, either fried on snackbread cracker with cheese or boiled with pressed cottage cheese, dab of mayo on snackbread cracker
or
1/2cup of quick oats with protein powder (debating on if this 1 is a good choice, extra protein but also extra carbs, however the oatmeal is good for you so hopefully someone else can chime in about this)

lunch - leftover meat from supper the night before and a little cheese

supper- either bbq pork loin, bbq chicken breast, homemade burger and a piece of cheese.  We often make extras and freeze or have fajitas the next day for supper. (never waste food..lol)

snacks - cheese, yogurt's, snackbread crackers

usually each Saturday night I make homemade chips and dip, spray DEMPSTER’S  BodyWise 100% Whole Grain Tortillas with pam, sprinkle mrs. dash (salt free) on them and use a pizza cutter to slice them into chip size, bake it in the oven for about 10 min to get crispy. Dip: layer of salsa, layer of fat free sour cream and sprinkle of lower fat shredded cheese on top.  Delicious treat that dh and kids love!

I often use the snackbread crackers in place of bread if making a sandwhich...a serving size is  6 crackers, I use 2.  A serving has 110 cal, 1 gr of fat, 23g of carbs and 3g of protein
