My scale is stuck!! Now I'm getting mad!
I hate this and hope that if I B**ch about it it'll change!!! My scale is stuck. Following all the rules. Hasn't budged in 2.5 weeks. So frustrating - now I just keep at it until my body readjusts. Try to weigh only once a week, but was so hopeful that things would have changed since Monday (even an ounce), but no, no, no - nothing, nada, zip. What a p-i-t-a! On the bright side, heading to the US for the weekend tomorrow, just my friend and I - no husbands!! That's always good for a cheer-up! Gonna hit the Dress Barn outlet and hopefully find some good deals on some new things - my closet is kind of pitiful right now.
Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
I feel your frustration, Megan. I stalled for 3 weeks, lost 3lbs in one week (which is a tremendous amount for me), then have been stalled for nearly 3 weeks again. I've actually gained a pound. And, yes, I'm also "following all the rules". I think we're both at that place where the weight loss starts to happen in fits and starts.
I'm drowning in school work, my 2 jobs, and family right now, so although my eating is on track, my exercise regime has gone down the toilet. I'm hoping to kick start it back into action in a serious way once my final papers for the term are submitted, in early Dec. I hope you find something to kickstart your weight loss back into action!

Im right there with you! My weight hasnt changed in about 3 weeks. It's frustrating but I promised myself that I wouldnt weigh until Dec. 2nd. I put the scale away, trust the process and trust that my body WILL let this fat go eventually!
PS...Im just happy that Im not gaining weight. I usually put on about 10lbs during the winter!

I have had my fair share of stalls since August and they are the most frustrating. Although pounds may not be coming off maybe inches that's what I tell myself to get through it alternates pounds, inches, pounds, inches.
Someone recently told me to break stall drink lots of water how true it is I don't know haven't tried yet but it really couldn't hurt.
Have fun shopping in the states. I LOVE the dress barn going next week for some holiday wear. Retail therapy is always helpful!!!

Sometimes, you have to "shake things up".
Change what you are eating, lower your carb intake if you are eating too many or if you're not eating alot of carbs, add some. I was told that by my nutritionist. I was very fortunate to not have any big stalls, I continued to lose weight every week, even if it was less then a pound.
Also, the more liquid you drink, the better things move along thru your body.

Life is GREAT!!!
Had my plastic surgery!
Thanks for that info. I really do need to get more fluids in, and I've perhaps been having a few too many triscuit thins, so I'll cut those out and up the protein and veg instead.
