I bought jeans!!

This is a real NSV - I haven't owned jeans in almost 30 years. Size 16, a little bling on the back pockets - helps draw attention to my much smaller cheeks!! But I'm looking forward to them being a tad looser. It's funny how my legs and butt are getting smaller at a more rapid pace than my stomach. If I go with a comfy fit in the guts, the butt and legs flap in the breeze, so I have to opt for a tighter waist. Hopefully it'll all eventually come together!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Congrats on the size 16 jeans!! Hopefully everything fits better as you get to the end of the weight loss phase.

that's awesome, Megan!!! My legs and butt go faster than my tummy, too. I wish that would go away, but it keeps hanging around (literally, ugh).

Way to go Megan! Apparently you're feeling "blue".....jeans that is! Good for you.

I hear you about the belly fat, it's definitely the hardest to get rid of.

My son is still surprised that I wear jeans as well now and I"m happy to say that I'm wearing a smaller size than he does! lol

That's exciting. I haven't worn jeans in so long, I would always where them when I was in my teens and early 20s, but whenever I've tried them since they seen so ridgid, fits great standing up but sitting down strangles me. lol So if I ever can get into jeans again they will probably be the stretchy ones. lol
