At work...nothing exciting for me either today. God, my life is so boring! LOL!

Hopefully off to the gym tonight. For some reason around 3-3:30 every day my back starts bugging me. I think it's the chair Im sitting in all day. I try and get up often but lately come 3pm the sciatic nerve starts bugging me.

On the menu today:

B: Protein Shake & 1/2 slice of Multigrain Toast
L: 3oz BBQ Pulled Pork
D: 3/4c. Chicken Chili or a Protein Shake
S: 100g. Greek Yogurt, 1c. Blackberries, 2 slices Swiss Cheese w/ Melba Toast & 1 Quest Bar if I go to the gym [1/2 before and 1/2 after].

S - greek yogurt and frozen banana whirled together

L - spinach salad with some smoked salmon

S - 2 cutie oranges

D - cabernet filet mignon, baby roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus, green salad

S - glass of sangiovese and a bite or two of lemon pie

You could come over but you may want a blindfold and ear plugs or you may be ruined forever.  LOL  Can you believe he didn't want molten chocolate cake for dessert?  I had my heart set on chocolate with the red wine but he said he'd love to have lemon pie so pie it is and I hate pie.  Maybe I will have to make a single chocolate cake for me and he can eat his damn pie.  LOL

I too would like to join you for dinner.  I shall wear earplugs, blindfold and eat in the basement if need be. LOL

LOL Karen.

Hopefully Joe surprises you even with any small gesture today.  I slept in this morning so when I got up, he was long gone to work and under my coffee cup was just a little sticky note with some sweet nothings written on it.  It meant the world to me.   We don't do cards or gifts on Vday but we do other silly little things.  I wrote him a cheeky email last night so that as soon as he got to work this morning, the first thing he'd see in his email was my happy vday email in all its cheekiness.  :)

Tracey, the tiniest of gestures would be appreciated more than you know.  No money involved, no going out, no nothing - just a gesture. :)

I know exactly how much you would appreciate the smallest of gestures as I have been there.  My ex hubby was the opposite of this one.  He would go all out and buy me dozens of roses but then do **** all else all year round to show me he cared.  This one does small little things year round that mean everything.  As someone else posted, just doing something big one day a year doesn't make it special, it's all year round that makes it special.
