I found at Walmart the Isolate had more protein and less carbs.

Isolate contains no lactose and is fine for people with lactose intolerance. Whey concentrate has lactose and therefore more carbs.

Donna is correct. Protein isolate goes through another step in the filtering process giving it a higher % of protein and fewer carbs and fat. Isolate is almost 100% pure protein.

Whey protein typically comes in two main forms: concentrate ('regular') and isolate.   Concentrates have a low (but significant) levels of fat an cholesterol, and carbohydrates in the form of lactose. Plus they are sometimes not very good for protein. Some protein concentrates are only 29% protein by weight. If you're lacotose intolerant this type is definitely not advised.   Whey protein isolates are processed to remove the fat and lactose, and are 90%+ protein by weight (purer).   Isolates are more readibly absorbed than concentrates making them better for WLS patients as you can get more protein in less volume.

Before the surgery I kept putting things off. I was never good enough. One of the benefits of WLS is that you start to believe in yourself. Check out my blog:
