Medium? Really?
I was out getting rain gear for my son today and just couldn't help looking at some awesome pants that were on sale (Mountain Equipment Co-op, great store but I didn't used to fit into their clothes). I decided to try them on; size MEDIUM fit me! Holy crap! And they weren't a struggle to get into. (I didn't buy them; still too expensive, until my weight settles).
I looked at the size large and thought "I might barely get into those", but decided to try on the mediums only because I now wear a size 10 most of the time. Still, my head hasn't caught up to my body. Thought I'd share that, as there seems to have been a lot of talk here lately about the body-mind disconnect.

Went to LuluLemon yesterday to get workout tops to send to my daughter in England. The style she wanted was not in stock, so I grabbed every size 10 in a style that was a little similar and took them in to a fitting room to get a feel for how long they were, because she is short waisted. Could NOT believe it when they all fit, and actually didn't look too bad (excluding the jiggly bits, of course). So, ...... AND HERE IT COMES, I bought 3 which I am sending to her with the caveat that she pick her 2 favourites and give ME the third as a walking shirt for the summer.
Me - 61 years old - fitting into LuluLemon, and being prepared to wear it. Not something I would have imagined could happen - EVER!
