i had surgery at st joe's... went to my surgery class sometime in november and they told me i'd be looking at the end of january for surgery.  got my call from krista dec 15 to start taking opti dec 19 with surgery jan 11!!!  i didn't meet the surgeon dr hong til a few minutes before they rolled me into the operation room!! and haven't seen him since!

I think the process depends on your surgeon?  

I have Dr. Lindsay. I met him at St. Joe's on Feb 27th where I was given my opti-fast to take home as well they set up a pre-op admission appointment for Mar 21st and a surgery date of Apr 17th.

Which surgeon do you have?

By the way....mine is at St Joe's Toronto...just remembered there are two St Joe's
