Bringing support to surgeon appt?

My 1st surgeon appt (dr.sohi/hrrh)  is this friday and my mother (my support person) is unable to come this time..   I was wondering if it will be alright if I show up on my own or is it frowned upon?

I'm sure it will be fine. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a "support" person. Even if they can't make the appointment :)

I went to all my appointment alone and was fine with that. My Hubby would have come but I felt happier going by myself. I would ask your mother if there are any questions she would like answers to and you'll ask them for her. Its not a big deal going alone. Not everyone can take time off work either and I'm sure the staff understands this.
