Appts all over.... what next??
Today was quite the big day for me. I had 5 appointments today at Humber. Yep all 5. My poor mother probably slept in the car a few times waiting in between..
9am - Nurse
10am - Social Worker
11am - Dietician
12pm - Internist
1 - 3:30 - PATTS
I live over 2.5 hrs away and left the house this morning at 5:45am.. I am completely pooped, however this has been a great day getting all these appointments over with and I was told I aced them all (yippie)..It was totally worth every long hour today. :) When I met with Dr. Glazer (internist), I think he told me that the next step was to call the surgeons office to get my next appointment to meet with him. Dr. Glazer spoke so fast that I didnt quite get everything he was saying (guess I was getting sleeping).. Does anyone know if this is correct... should I be calling the surgeon's office in the morning??

I too had all 5 app'ts as well on the same day. Not a long drive there but a long day indeed. Especially cause I had to bring my 18 month old son along. I met with Dr. Glazer and i thought he was very quick too. But he had told me I needed to have a sleep study done and then meet with him for a follow-up. I already had an app't booked with my sergeon so I didnt need to call him but I would suggest giving your surgeons office a call anyway and just let them know what he said and they will be able to tell you what to expect further. If you dont have to do a sleep study then your next step willl probably be to see your sergeon and schedule your sergery date. :)
Good Luck with everything!
