Made it yourself or apparatus or contraption

Hello all I just thought I would share about My gadgets I have made since surgery. Well I had a long shoes horn, that at the top I added a little shoes horn and tape it with duck tape. So one end was still for putting on shoes and the other for picking up things cause bending over killed my stomach. one of the other is a wide piece of clothe that I had glued Velcro to, I would pout it at the waist of my paint so it doesn't brother my incision.

My question to all is was there something that you did or make to help you along the way, and what was it ?

Surgery date May 7 / 2012
Highest 312 lbs - Pre Op 297lbs - now 199 lbs
I know now that my location was never my destination.

These are cute! I fortunately have learned to become very dextrous in my toes or I bend over like you would to get a golf ball- with much supportof something to lean on, straigh forward and leg back for balance.

Keep up the inventiveness! I'm learning to just this journey/body as everyone's is different.

There are risks and costs to a program; but they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction. -JFK
