Back from vacation, changes and pics!

Hey everyone,
Got back last night from my one week to the Ottawa area and had a blast! Some of you may remember that I was feeling anxious about seeing my Honey as I hadn't seen him since the week following surgery. It was both weird and wonderful. Weird because there have been so many physical changes in me since surgery and wonderful because, well, there's 100 lbs less of me now!! It no longer feels like we're carrying an extra person between us when we're being intimate.
My fiance was in awe over my appearance. I still find it difficult not to focus on the parts that still need changing but my friends and family were so pleased with how healthy I looked. I intended this vacation to be unlike any other I've ever had - focus was on activity and NOT on food. Here's what I did:
* Horseback riding
*Trampolining (Thanks, Karen, for planting that idea in my head)
*Hiking in Gatineau Park (for any of you in the Ottawa area looking for some different (and FREE!!) exercise, I highly recommend this.
*Mini-putt
*Water park (and I rode all but two of the rides... because losing weight doesn't automatically make you lose your fear of heights.
As for the other differences this time around:
*I shopped in regular stores (but I didn't buy anything except for at Value Village)
*I made it to a meeting of the Bytown Benchers. It was wonderful meeting people in person and I'm hoping to make it to another the next time I'm in town.
* TMI alert* I braved a Brazilian wax! (Where exactly is all this confidence coming from???)
I had a blast doing it all. I was the only adult at the drop-in trampoline class and I didn't mind a bit. Funny how my confidence grows exponentially with the amount of weight I take off.
Here are a few pics: The first is a before shot of me & my Aunt.The second the t-shirst speaks for itself. The final one is a "behind" shot because I think I look so tiny compared to how I looked before.
