Dr. Allen Okrainec
RNY on 09/07/12
My former colleague had him as a surgeon and he says Dr. Okrainec was fantastic. He was very attentive post op and there was very little pain. Nothing at all negative to say about the whole process. His surgery wasn't an RnY but it was still major gastrointestinal surgery. You're in very good, capable hands.
Don't let his youthful looks frighten you off, he's been at this for quite some time :)
Ask him anything you like, it's hard for us to say what you're wondering about. :) I asked my surgeon what his personal mortality rate was. lol

They told me the same thing, too - guess it doesn't hurt to keep trying, though!
