Optifast on the go and Magic Mike -

Hello Optifast Veterans...Today I started the optifast (yuk)..  Ya sure, friday on the long weekend.. could it get any better?  lol..    Well, tonight my friends and I are going to see the Majic Mike movie (between this and the 50 shades..wow!) and I wont be home to drink my forth shake..(i live 1 hr away from the city).  Do you have any suggestions on how to drink it while on the go?  Should I make it ahead of time and freeze it?  Does it freeze well??

I didn't like it frozen try to have it as a pudding then you just add your water when you want to eat and mix and if you really don't like it it's only a couple of spoonfuls and ou are done

I went to Tommie's and bought my water and asked for a chili bowl and a spoon to mix it. I know the movies has the frozen yogurt place I am sure you can get a bowl there

I made mine in with ice in the blender and then put it in a thermos to take with me on the go.  I found that it stayed cold enough. I never tried freezing it.

I used a blender bottle (with the little whisk ball) to use on the go. You can bring your pack of opti, buy a cold bottle of water and whip it up in the blender bottle. I wouldn't recommend making it ahead of time, it gets pretty gross after a short period of time .

I've heard from others that you can ask the server at the restaurant to have it made up in the restaurant. The instructions are on the package and the bartender can whip it up in the blender. Be sure to leave them a nice tip for doing this for you.

I packed a tall blender bottle with a pack or two inside, and when time, I would mix it with 800 mls of cold water and a stick of crystal light. Mixed with extra water like that it's just like drinking flavoured (straberry, orange, raspberry, mango) milk. I even drank it at the movies too. I would not make it ahead of time, it is gross if it sits too long, esp in a closed container.
