FYI :   NSAID stands for nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug.  Anything with Asprin, for example.

Hello Dawn,

My Weight is down to 313lbs.  That is good.

However, I found out a month ago that I need a Liver Transplant.  Yup my weight when I was 652lbs killed my Liver!  That and a few other things.  I am not a Drinker so I did not kill my Liver with Boose.  I have Non-Alcohlic Cirriasis.  I think that is how it is spelled.  Please forgive my bad Spelling.

Anyway Dr Shaw-Stiffell from the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus has Referred me to McGill in Montreal for a Liver Transplant.  I am waiting for them to call me for my first appointment with them.  Basically I am now waiting to get on the waiting List.

I currently am feeling ok but things are expected to change.

Take Care.  Ed. S

I am very sorry to hear that you aren't well Ed.   I am going to send you lots of good thoughts and prayers that you will get your transplant soon.

It's amazing what wonders they can do now.  I have a friend that had a heart transplant many, many years ago and he had a very good recovery and has been doing well ever since!  I hope that you will do just as well.

Please keep us updated.
