Is it strange to be so excited about being 295 lbs? Or maybe it is because I am under 300 lbs for the first time since high school.

I don't have the new clubs yet. Orded them from Golfsmith in USA and will pickup after Aug. 27. Saved $300 buying in US rather than Golftown which is funny because Golftown purchased Golfsmith back in May.

As for hitting.. played Links at Piper's Glen and Black Horse on the weekend and played pretty good. Still hitting shots thin but not as often. If you get the chance to play Play Horse... DO IT. Well worth the drive.

RE thin shots.....remember what I said about ensuring you are on the balls of your feet and not on your heels......its the obese mindset to get your body away from the club....hence you begin to rest on your heels....
