Anyone up for a semi-crazy challenge??

So here's the thing... I work better under a little stress. I've been trying to come up with a new fitness challenge for myself and this is what I've decided to do:

I want to virtually trek across Canada. Anyone else up for the challenge? I'm hoping to complete the distance from east coast to west coast within a year. The rules would be simple. Anything the propels you forward (walking, biking, running, rollerskating, snow shoeing, skiing, crawling, swimming, rowing, etc.) could count toward your goal.

The basics are as such:

* Each person would keep track of their personal tally and I could post the results once a week
* Anyone can join in at any time
* This can be done relay style (have teams of 2 or 3, for example) who could then challenge other teams
* Obviously this would be a long-term committment

Any takers? I'm thinking of starting on October 1st.

Sounds great. Maybe we could set out for a city on the East Coast and have milestones along the way. Like Monica could be in Toronto by the time I hit Quebec City.
