CRAZY Trans-Canada Challenge: Time to submit your KMs for week 3 (Oct 15-Oct 21)
RNY on 02/02/12
Well, another week bites the dust. How's everyone doing with the challenge??
I had a less than spectacular week. Before Teams B & C get too excited, I still managed to walk my committed 50 Kms this week. I've just had a bad week teenager-wise so I was less than motivated. I'd like to thank all of you for being a part of this challenge. If it wasn't for refusing to let my team down I might only have sat on my couch all week. That being said, I would have preferred to have contributed more to my team. Oh well, such is life and I vow to try harder this coming week.
This thread will be "active" until about 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (Monday, October 22) and I will post the results for week 3 by Tuesday morning. As always, if you miss the deadline feel free to message me your details.
I'll also be posting the choices of prizes for the first challenge tomorrow or Tuesday. Remember, the only requirement for this month's challenge was that you participate and remain a member in good standing (ie: not get eliminated for non-reporting). Pretty simple.
To all the newbies, pre- and post-op. Join in! It's a great way to get active, costs nothing, and you can win a neat prize. Come on, I dare ya!
Thea

I had an amazing week and thanks to the motivation/involvement of my family I managed to walk / bike 74km this week for team (B) your pace or mine.
Thank you again for coming up with this challenge, it keeps me motivate and now that my family has joined in and walk with me everyday, it's keeping them active too.

Lol. Yep. The spinning works out to 25-30 kms. Since I don't have anything g to measure my cadence, I will stick with the 25 km. no idea else how to measure it, just the online research.
Oh! And I did one k of a watm up on Friday. Did weights after. So 86
