CRAZY Trans-Canada Challenge: Time to submit your KMs for week 4 (Oct 22-Oct 28)
Hope you all had a great week. Mine was a little challenging exercise-wise but still managed to walk 60 KM. I'm hoping to break the 100 KM mark one of these weeks but my plans always seem to get away from me.
Remember, I'll be picking the first winner in our first challenge this week. Anyone who's in good standing and who has submitted some mileage for their team in the past three weeks is eligible to win. We're always looking for more participants so join in!!! The winner will be announced on Tuesday.
This thread will accept updates until about 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (Monday) and I'll post the results by Tuesday morning. As always, if you miss the deadline you can either PM me your details or hold on to your mileage until next week.
Happy Trails!

Nice milage (love your avatar, reminds me of the song "when you walked into the room...")! I was damned close at 57 kms this week! My fitbit died this morning sometime and I didn't realize it until I saw your post and pluggged it in to my laptop (wish the thing had an audible warning low battery), I probably did at least three or four today but won't claim it cause I can't know for sure.
Go Your Pace or Mine! Whooot! ![]()
Don't know that song, Ian. Who sings it?
The pic was taken last night. It was the "sexier" of my two Halloween costumes I wore this year.
Great job on mileage... but I'm determined not to allow your team overtake mine! ![]()
Oh... of course I know that song!
Those ladies are certainly sexier than me by far (but thanks for the ego boost!) LOL

I do Kelly! There are only two things I would change about it, one is would add a low battery signal of some sort and two I would make a model that could be used with a reset feature for counting milage on a run and be able to time a run. right now I'm being taught to run with repeats, we're up to 5 minute run, one walk and so on with four repeats. I have loaded an adidas ap for my phonethat Mon uses but haven't learned how to use it yet. If the fitbit did that too it would be perfect imo. I suppose I'm asking too much, I just don't want to have to carry my phone too.
It does kick my ass at the end of some days I plug it in and it tells me I haven't gone nearly the miles I thought I had gone. I'll go for a quick run or take the dogs for a brisk walk to make up for it.
Interesting! I love the Map My run app, with the lady who tells me that i'm slowing down during a run. I would still need my phone because it has my music!! :D
