Ohhh just peachy...kidney stones!!

Cranberry has a lot of oxalate in it, which leads to the formation of kidney stones. If you're going to drink cranberry juice, you should take calcium with it, which will bind the oxalate and let you excrete it instead of forming it into stones. I don't drink cranberry juice regularly, but a vodka cranberry is my drink of choice, so if I'm out enjoying a couple I will pop a calcium tablet or softchew. Just a tip with the holidays coming up ;)
