REPOST: FREE Fitbit!!! Last few days to sign up......
Now that I've got your attention....
Have you been on the fence about joining the CRAZY Trans-Canada Challenge? If you have, there's no time like RIGHT NOW! If you sign up for the challenge between now and December 1st AND remain in the challenge for at least the months of December and January, your name will be entered to win a FitBit. I just started using mine this week and I am hooked!!
Don't worry current challenge members. You are eligible, as well!
Please click on the link in my signature to see a copy of the "rules". You may sign up in this post or send me a PM if you're shy.
Just a few small notes for those who are wondering:
** As long as you get a minimum of ONE km/week you are eligible to enter the challenge. (Seriously, I'm sure every single one of you moves at least a km in one week!)
** There is NO cost to participate in the challenge!
** The challenge is open to pre-ops, post-ops and those who are just figuring things out.
** If you've been in the challenge and since dropped out, come back. You are ALWAYS welcome!
** I will offer an option of a second, equally fantastic, prize for those of you who already have a FitBit or who have no interest in using one.
Here's a link to FitBit if you want to have a gander. The prize will be the FitBit Ultra (the one I currently own.) This thing is amazing. It even tracks my sleep patterns!
The other choice will be an Ozeri Touch 440 lbs Digital Bathroom Scale. It measures Weight, Body Fat, Hydration, Muscle and Bone Mass with Auto Recognition Technology for 8 Personal Profiles. Here's a picture of it.

So, what are you waiting for?? Sign up now!!!
If you're moving you can count it!!
I think everyone should use a pedometer of some sort. It'll get us across Canada just that much faster. ![]()
Woot!! And....WAIT WHAT???? You mean for all my classes I could have been using this and counting it? Body Combat is intense and we run around. I wonder how many kms is in that class. And I walk a lot during the day at work, and haven't accounted for that either!! Cool!
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
That is why I wear a cheap little pedometer!
