REPOST: FREE Fitbit!!! Last few days to sign up......
Ok you talked me into it...I am going to sign up....I think I will commit to 10 k a week for now, (i am 4 months and one in a half weeks post op so my vitamins are all out of whack, need my first real blood test at 5 months to know why I am tired, but I think it is iron which I am on additional supplements, i have always had a problem with iron). i need something to get me motivated (I am making up excuses not to go on the treadmill which i know are just excuses) to get exercising and this is it...I mostly do yoga, but I go on the treadmill after the yoga for about 20 - 30 min. Soon I am joining the Y with the family. I will do the treadmill for now but I love biking but that won't be until next spring/summer.
Ok so sign me up and tell me how do i do this? Never done anything like this before....
Thanks!

I've added you to the challenge and you are on Team B: Your Pace or Mine.
All you have to do is log how many KMs you do per week. I usually post the update thread on Sunday evening or Monday morning. If you miss the deadline you can either PM me your weekly mileage or submit whatever you missed with the following week's data. To see which types of activities count towards mileage, please click on the link in my signature line for more information.
Welcome to the challenge!
I start the thread sometime on Sunday (usually) and it's active until Monday evening sometime. If you miss it, you can always pm me your details.
Hi Elena,
10 km/wk is awesome. Please see my reply to the above post for more information. You can also check out the "rules" by clicking on the link in my signature line.

Welcome to the Challenge!!
Okay...I'm walking between 40 and 60 minutes a day now, so I guess I'll sign up too! I'm just not sure how many km that works out to. I walked 3.4 km in 40 minutes (checked Google Maps out of curiosity) yesterday, so maybe I'll go easy and commit to 10 km per week minimum at this point.
I'm in! Sorry in advance to any team that gets me...I certainly won't be carrying the team or anything! :)

So sorry to reply so late but I've been sick and not online much. The challenge, in a nutshell, is we've formed three teams and are racing each other across Canada by virtually completing the Trans-Canada Trail. The idea is to motivate each other to move more. There are prizes and a whole lot of fun. Click on the link in my signature to read more about it. PM me if you want to join. There's always room for more people!!
