Can I get a few examples of how you veterans do yours on a daily basis? I had one that I did with the dietician months ago...but cannot find it and I had everything organized!

I get a B12 injection monthly at my doc's office.

Upon waking - calcium and vitamin D (I take chewable calcium citrate by bariatric advantage whi*****lude vitamin D but I also supplement with extra D since I'm on the low side)

12 noon- calcium and vitamin D

3pm - 2 multivitamins (one bariatric advantage and one centrum...they have slightly different vitamin profiles so I figure why not get a broader spectrum by mixing them up)

6pm - calcium and vitamin D

9pm- iron and vitamin C (chewable bariatric advantage iron and Jamieson chewable vitamin C)

All my vits are chewable still.  I actually like the way they taste.

you should be taking a vit c with your proferrin, it helps utilize/absorb the iron to usuable stuff.

Proferrin doesn't need Vitamin C for absorption.  It is absorbed differently than iron salts.

For me...

When I wake up I cut two multis with iron in hallf and take all four pieces....2 hours later I take my calcium and D......two hours later I take another does of calcium and D.....I take my syntharoid  at bedtime now and get my B12 by injection.

just my opinion Evie, you may get much better absorption from the multis is you split them into 2 different times (the body can only absorb so much at once).  Maybe take two halves with supper, 2 halves when you wake up?
