am I the only one?
I agree with Floyd that you can`t eat what isn`t there.
When I was doing a school paper, I had an insane urge for chocolate chips. WHICH I had in the house. Prior to surgery I had never known a craving to go away until it was satisfied. BUT I resisted. The minute the paper was done the craving went away. I was amazed. I outlasted it !!! Then I took the chips to my sisters, where they are too far away for me to hear their siren song.
It helps me to ask myself `'who do I want to be, a chocolate chip chewer or a slim person', or 'did you have body altering surgery to eat THAT ???' or 'if God gave you a choice between being slim and eating that, which would you chose?'.
Everyone is different, finding the solution to this temptation is the skill that will keep you slim long term.

I am only 2 months out and am hearing the call of carbs, cookies and chocolate. I am resisting so far but it is a daily struggle. You not in this alone.
Thank you all so much! Its such a relief to know Im not alone in my struggle. I really like the idea of cooking the chicken and leaving it in the fridge for a snack!! I think Im going to have to get rid of my crackers as I seem to want them all the time i stead of just a few here and there.
Thanks again everyone!! Merry Christmas!!
