VERY IMPATIENCE

I HAD MY ORIENTATION ON JUNE 24 2011,, I'M WAITING TO GO TO THE NUTRITION CLASS AND MEET THE SURGERON,,, ITS BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS,,, I HOPE I GET MY CALL SOON,,, I JUST WANT THIS OVER AND DONE WITH,,,,, OTTAWA HOPE PICKS UP SOON,,,, WHEN I CALLED BACK IN NOVEMBER THEY WERE ON MAY 2011,, SO HOPEFULLY MINE WILL BE SOON.....

Keep calling! Doesn't hurt...and it might get the wheels greased!

I HAVE A CALLED LIKE SIX TIMES SINCE NOVEMBER AND EVERY TIME THEY SAY FEW MORE MONTHS

I went through Ottawa and it took me over 2 years to work through the process. Had my surgery nov 8 2012. I got my date exactly 3 weeks before surgery and started opti the day after the call. Are you calling Lana or just asking the main reception girls? I suggest calling Lana if you're not doing that as she has more info and i found her very helpful.

IM NOT SURE WHO I TALK TO ,,, ALL I KNOW IS THE GIRL SAID THAT IT WAS LANA THAT AND SHE HUNG UP AFTER SAYING THAT

not that this is ANY consolation to you and others coming behind you..as this surgery gains interest and acceptance, I am sure the waiting times will increase..I mean truthfully, you can't take a handful of doctors province wide and expect them to perform the increased surgical load for this specific surgery.

Hopefully in the near future there will be more surgeons qualified to perform these...as we all know that having this surgery decreases many of the reliance on drugs and the health care system.
