OT - Life of Pi

I saw this Oscar nominee tonight.  I cried and cried.  (I didn't cry at all in Les Miz).

I saw it in 3D.

Very different, very beautiful.  It has to win some awards for visual effects.

Hard to believe it is in the same category as Django Unchained, Les Miz & Zero Dark 30.

I think it's a timeless masterpiece.

Oh I cried.

 

I just saw Les Miz this weekend and I didn't cry either. I was surprised, because I generally do cry at movies!

I haven't seen the other ones yet though, I will need to check them out

I read the book and thought it was amazing. I haven't seen the movie yet though, but i bet it's good.

awe Shallow Girl (not) I so want ot read tis book and see the movie too!  will order the book on my e reader....any writing that moves one to tears does it job and send the message....we have so much to learn !

I want to see it too as the book was fab.  Anyone want to go with me to see 3D version in Western TOronto, Mississauga, Brampton area?
