Social Worker! They aren't that scary!

Hello Everyone!

          I hope everyone is doing well!

         I had my social worker appointment this past Monday, and I will admit I was a little scared going in. Maybe it's me but when I was told they basically are like therapist and I have heard some people not get approved because the Social Worker found them unfit. Which I know it's their job, and perhaps the people were truly not ready...but it still scared me a little. But when Jennifer came in to get me in the waiting room, she was very nice, and very preggers...Congrats to her!. She had an assistant there with her and she was also super nice! I am happy to report that I do not have have to go the head shrink!  WooHoo!!

          Next appointment, is the internist! Oh boy, I really hope I do not have to go for anymore test! Here is to hoping for August date!!! *prays* Would love to hear how others faired with the internist!.

Hi RTLL,

I saw the social worker at TWH after I saw Dr. Glazer.  She was the least convivial person I met at the TWH, TEGH, and HRRH.  She actually asked me if I heard voices.  I was so shocked that I laughed and made a lame joke about not needing to wear a tin foil hat.  My attempt at humour fell flat, but she did give me the green light.  Maybe she had a migraine that day?  In contrast, the psychologist was super friendly and nice.

LMFAO! I made a tin foil hat joke too! I also told her I didn't have ADHD, bipolar disorder or OCD before she had a chance to finish the questions for each group. She was really nice!

LMFAO too!  Maybe that particular social worker had heard the tin foil hat joke so many times that she couldn't crack a smile.
