Surgery Time
I was told up to 4 hours, but mine was completed in under 2 hours.... I'm not sure about the revision...

A RNY can take 2 - 4 hours it all depends on how things are going during the surgery and before they close you up they also test to make sure there is no leaks.
Referral- March 2012, Letter April 19, Orientation TWH- June 6, NP - July 3, Sleep Apena test July 16, Internist and SW - July 17, Nutritional class - July 23, Dietician appt. July 30th, Psych-Social appt - Aug 20th. Follow up with doctor sleep apena Aug. 28th Surgeons appt. - Dec. 14th Dr. Jackson. Surgery date - Feb 12 2013 - VSG


I've heard 3 hours or so, but mine was about 4 hours. I had an RNY. I think sometimes it's longer for people with sleep apnea. Recovery certainly is - they keep you in the recovery room for a few hours and wake you up slowly instead of just an hour or so.
No idea about revisions, though!
