Exercise newbie...suggestions?
Just past week 3 post-op and dreaming of those days when I will be happily saying 'race ya' to my boys. Not quite able to get beyond walking; which I am committing to daily these days. But what exercise got you going and excited to get off the couch?

When I started working out, I used Turbo Jam DVDs. They were awesome to start with, very adaptable and motivating. I love to work out at home with DVDs, it fits my schedule perfectly. There are tons of great workouts, and you can find workout DVDs at Wal Mart for less than $10. If you're looking for something really basic, Leslie Sansone's walking workouts (on DVD) are great to start with.

Something that you like so try new things.
I've tried: a walking group, yoga, swim exercise classes, swim coaching, the gym, running, Pilates, bootcamp,.... I really like walking the *******so love Leslie Sansone videos (whether I was 150 or 250 lbs I could do them).
