Sushi beginner- suggestions please!

So I'm looking to try some sushi and I want to know where to start! Not up for restaurant dining yet or making my own....yet. My local grocery store has a good selection to start with. What do you recommend?

Fortinos even has sushi with brown rice.

I am new at sushi as well (and will leave 2/3 of the rice - I am 6 months post op). I love the raw fish. frown so I will take salmon or stuffed shrimp. They have them all over now - even the mall ones are pretty good. (just make sure it is one that does sell a lot of sushi. LOL / fresh is key!!!)

Im 2 yrs out and trust me sushi and pouches do not get along too well - the rice - be it brown or white really expands in there - however u may be different
