Just wondering what sweeteners everyone is using. Since sugar is a no-no, what are the best options. I've used sweet n low in the past but maybe something more natural is better like stevia or agave.  Thoughts?

small amounts of honey, molasses, raw brown sugar are not bad for you and imo go much further than the pharmceuticals like aspartame and sodium cyclamate.  just my opinion, not shared by all here.

And as Canadians we cannot forget Maple syrup. I agree with you Ian.

I'm a splenda fan which is sucralose not aspartame. I haven't tried agave but I really don't like stevia.

I prefer Splenda in both white and brown sugars.  I find stevia is too sweet tasting and generally avoid it except when I have the odd protein bar.

I use splenda. (I tried stevia and I don't like it)

What concerns me are the articles that say artificial sweeteners trick your body into thinking you've had sugar.
