So I just got home from the hospital after my surgery and they do not give you pain meds to take home they said to crush up tylenol.  Do you think the ez tabs would be ok to crush up??

Congrats on being released from the hospital. I crushed the plain cheap Tylenol for pain the first few days home from the hospital. I am sure your centre would advise you best though. By the way I got sugar free pudding (found in the dairy case at most grocery stores) was much better to take crushed meds with. I tried apple sauce but it really made me gag.

Heal well and see you at next month's meeting.

do yourself a favour and get a pill splitter at the pharmacy, it lets you split the tablets into quarters easily.  I so gagged over liquid tylenol, they had to put it on my chart they were scared I was going to throw something up that should have stayed in place!  Way too sweet for me. As the EZ tabs dissolve so much quicker I wonder if they might not be available when you need to absorb it (assuming you're RNY)?  I don't know, just wondering.  I would stick with extra strength tabs.  Heal well!  kiss
