Opti fast - covered?
I know that with ODB if the doctor fills out a nutritional needs form, then products such as Ensure and Boost are accepted.
Wondering if something similar would work?

There is no DIN so I'm not aware of any drug plan that would cover it, even though there is a script.
I was able to claim it through my HSA at work, if that is an option available to you.

Odsp and OW changed the special allowance forms August 2011. I do believe they still have a section on them for excess weight tho. How much is alotted for the I don't know.
I know sometime clients have requested appeal or a review for special medical concerns via client special services and have had success on the OW side. Unfortunately my knowledge of ODSP isn't that strong. I am a OW caseworke, but special diets are process via a specialized caseload due to the high amounts of fraud

I have Manulife and they denied it. I am very fortunate to have a health spending account and it was covered through that.
