Update
I'm one week shy of my two month post op. If anyone remembers I had every complication they can throw at you. April is like a haze, I don't remember much of it. I was in and out of the hospital a few times. Because of the second surgery to repair and clean out my chest cavity I was in the hospital an additional 8 days. I lost a lot of weight very fast which was mostly muscle. I was home a week and ended up back in because I was severely dehydrated! When they say drink constantly, DRINK DRINK DRINK!!! I NEVER want to go through that again. I don't think I've ever felt so weak. Once that was under control I was on my way to a full recovery!! I'm down just about 40lbs since surgery and 85lbs since the beginning of my journey with the clinic! I'm down 5 sizes in my pants and 4 sizes in my tops! and it's only been two months!!! Yay Me!!
I've since joined curves and walk every day and on a normal diet for the most part. I was at the clinic this morning to see my handsome Doctor Jules, and he finally gave me the all clear to go back to work! Who would have thought I'd be soooo excited to get back to work! LOL
I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to post, but I had a really rough go of it and now that I have my energy back, the last thing I want to do is sit at home in front of the computer!
Stay strong everyone! Now it's my turn to clear a spot on the bench for those joining us!
